About Us!

Digitail is on a mission to transform the veterinary profession through innovative, customer-centric technology. We’re building the modern all-in-one operating system for veterinary hospitals, designed to streamline workflows, simplify communication, and enhance pet care.

Our platform supports veterinary teams across the globe in managing everything from medical records and billing to scheduling and client engagement—all from one intuitive interface. Backed by love for pets and deep respect for vet professionals, we’re creating the tools that help teams focus more on care, and less on admin.

The Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing to help us build and maintain the highest quality standards across our product suite. You will work side-by-side with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure that our solutions are functional, stable, and delightful to use.

You will play a crucial role in shaping our QA processes, expanding our automated test coverage with tools like Playwright, and ensuring that our growing platform scales reliably across hundreds of veterinary practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright, integrated into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform manual exploratory and regression testing for new features and critical workflows
  • Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, and Frontend teams to ensure features are well understood and testable
  • Help debug issues by reproducing bugs, documenting root causes, and working with engineers to isolate problems
  • Drive quality ownership across the team through testing best practices, clear documentation, and proactive QA strategies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our QA process, tools, and workflows
  • Monitor production issues and contribute to post-mortems to prevent regression
  • Take part in code reviews and cross-functional planning discussions

What We’re Looking For:

  • at least 2 years of experience in a QA, SDET, or Test Engineer role, with a mix of manual and automated testing
  • Solid experience writing E2E tests with Playwright (or similar frameworks like Cypress or Selenium)
  • Comfortable testing complex user flows and identifying edge cases
  • Attention to detail, empathy for end users, and a proactive mindset
  • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Bonus: Experience with CI/CD tools, monitoring systems, or performance testing

We endeavour to review all applications. If you don't hear back from us by then, we thank you for your interest however will not be progressing with your application.
